The 2025 outage has been scheduled for January and February. The work includes a minor overhaul of Francis unit no. 3 from January 14 to 31 and Francis unit no. 4 from February 1 to 18. During the minor overhaul campaign, the yearly outage will also be conducted for Francis unit no. 1 (January 25 to 28), Francis unit no. 2 (January 18 to 21), and both Pelton units—no. 11 (February 5 to 7) and no. 12 (January 29 to 31).
For the minor overhaul program, the maintenance inspection will focus on mechanical and electrical components, with particular attention to the turbine and generator, including the removal of two rotor poles to inspect the stator condition. Auxiliary equipment, such as the main transformer, 500 kV circuit breaker, and bearings, will also undergo inspection.
The yearly outages for Francis Units 1 and 2, Pelton Units 11 and 12 will include a detailed inspection of mechanical and electrical components, focusing on turbine and generator systems, as well as auxiliary equipment. Corrective and improvement maintenance will cover the replacement of electro-mechanical speed sensors and accumulator sensors.
During the campaign, approximately 120 contractor staff will work at the Powerhouse and Substation.
