The awareness campaign conducted by the CSR Team in collaboration with the Long Term Scholarship (LTS) implementation team from February 10-19 was a significant initiative aimed at promoting educational opportunities in the Nakai Nam Theun National Park area. The campaign covered four schools: Na Meuy, Thong Noi, Mak Feuang, and Nahao. The primary objective was to disseminate information about the LTS scholarship and announce an exchange program for site visits to three institutions. This initiative was crucial in reaching out to students and parents, providing them with valuable information about the scholarship opportunities available to them.

During the campaign, the team engaged in various activities, including major guiding and data collection from interested students. The focus was specifically on M7 grade and graduated students from each village. The team provided detailed information about the scholarship, the application process, and the benefits of participating in the exchange program. They also collected data on the students’ interests and aspirations, which would help tailor future initiatives to better meet the needs of the community. The campaign was well-received, with a total of 159 participants, comprising 112 students and 47 parents, indicating a strong interest in the scholarship program.

The success of this campaign highlights the importance of community engagement and collaboration in promoting educational opportunities. By working closely with local schools and communities, the CSR and LTS teams were able to effectively communicate the benefits of the scholarship program and encourage participation. The data collected during the campaign will be invaluable in shaping future initiatives and ensuring that they are aligned with the needs and aspirations of the students. This campaign is a testament to the positive impact that targeted awareness efforts can have on increasing access to education and empowering young people in the Nakai Nam Theun National Park area.
