Nam Theun 2 Hands Over Successful Projects to Gnommalath District!
We’re proud to announce the handover of 3 important projects to Gnommalath District on February 14th, 2024:
Irrigation gate 4: This gate, part of the “Best Use of Downstream Water” initiative, will improve water management and agricultural productivity in the region.
Road B2 repair: This repair project will enhance transportation links between Nam Theun 2 and the Powerhouse, facilitating essential travel and goods movement.
Medical equipment donation: This donation to the Gnommalath District Hospital’s emergency team will strengthen their ability to provide critical medical care to the community.
The handover ceremony was a great success, with participation from the Gnommalath District Governor, representatives from various Khammouane and Gnommalath offices, and the Nam Theun 2 delegation. We’re grateful for the collaboration and support that made these projects possible.
